I have been wearing this fragrance for 45 years. The Lauder Company reformulated it a few years ago and I didn’t like the new formula at all. I bought the last 4 bottles sold at Department Store I frequent. So very happy to find this at such a great price

I am in my early 60’s and have worn Private Collection on/off since my early 20’s…and EVERY TIME someone new smells it on me, they always comment on how beautiful it smells and they ask what fragrance it is…for 40+ years I have always told people I couldn’t remember what it was called to try to keep it to myself…LOL the secret is out now! It is an enchanting scent!

The scent is exactly as I remembered it from my 20’s. My husband and I were recently looking through old slides we hadn’t seen in 40 years. He used to tell me my fragrance lingered on the pillow after I left. (Lightbulb!) I was surprised it was available after all these years. (69 and holding!) Amazingly, it’s still just lovely.
Estee Lauder Private Collection is timeless and ageless without being overpowering. My only complaint is that the spray pump dispenses more perfume than I’d like with each use, so a lighter mist option would be appreciated.
Still, I’m so happy I rediscovered it. Some scents carry a lifetime of memories.
